End of quote.
We use a 6" Diamond cup wheel for rapid stock removal when needed. We
used to run it on a big Black & Decker "Wildcat" grinder, which spins
around 6000 - 6500 RPM. This combo works great, but will wear you out in
short order. Best used by someone with forearms like Popeye the sailer.
Being as how the electric tool weighs so much, I replaced it with an
Dynabrade 2 HP air powered tool that weighs a lot less. Operator can run
this tool for extended amount of time without the fatigue caused by the
weight & vibration of similarly powered electric tools.
A 7" wheel is something I have not tryed.
