Verging on Heresy
Kent, it was unclear from your post whether you were talking about
copying your own work or someone else's. There is a way too large trade
in small sculptures by famous people (Archipenko, Moore, Remington,
etc.) that are unauthorized reproductions (i.e., the case where someone
owns an original and has a mold made and then puts out their own
edition, often in collusion with an unscrupulous middleman, that is sold
as originals). I don't think that is what you're talking about, but
everyone should know that one should be very, very careful if you ever
are offered a "big-name" sculpture for a low price. In fact, I think
that someone had a post in the last few years about an experience like
