Verging on Heresy
But ethics allow you to do whatever you want with your
designs.
Along the line of this conversation, here is a little story.
Years ago, I sold a smallish carving to a client. A table top sized
abstract. Skip foreward about 10 years, and she has me over to her house
to discuss a new commisioned piece. I notice my sculpture on a table, and
then do a double take-- my stone carving is now a bronze. Asked her about
it, and it turns out that she had had a mold made of my work, cast 5 copies
and was selling them! Didn't even offer me one of the copies. AH the things
that can happen in the world of art.
