Lying Stones
Lying stones eh Bill!
I subscribe to an antiquities magazine called Minerva, there are often
fantastic articles about people's efforts to forge stuff, the ones that
really appeal to me are the ones that require the perpetrators to use their
imaginations to "invent" completely bogus cultures.
Anyway that's not why I write. A friend of mine always says "all artists
lie" to which I add, "most often unintentionally" but quite surreptitiously
you have evoked that really hoary old question of Integrity, Honesty and
Truth. What intrigues me the most about it is that if I say the truth, that
sometimes I lie then I'm being honest.
All the best to all.
