Introducing myself : Marc Till
Bonjour a tous / Hi everyone
Some time ago, I was contacted by the website admin suggesting that I
add my web page to the Stone directory, which I did, and I also
subscribed to the mailing list, where I have been lurking for some time.
Now that my winter hibernation period is over, I have taken the step
towards introducing myself more formally.
I am an amateur carver, having started with wood (mostly self taught) a
long time ago. I started taking stone carving lessons in 2000.
Being busy with work, family, gliding and music listening (too many
things, I know), I have to admit I do not have an important production,
but sculpture definitely has a big place in my life. I am currently
working (slowly) on a 60kg/130lb block of hard limestone (pierre de Buxy
- Burgundy). Next step will be marble, definitely.
