[stone]Touching sculpture [was : art & the netsuke artist]
Maybe we should create some "as much for the hand as for the eye" club :)
Fortunately enough, there are some museums or galleries where you are
allowed to touch and feel the sculptures (the Jean Arp Foundation near
Paris is one that springs to my mind, they even have gloves for that).
To overcome the single viewpoint issue, I have thought of making small
movies or animated gifs of a sculpture but I haven't taken the time to
experiment yet.
I'm curious to know if anyone has tried that already.
