adapting an existing one, or building the flanges up so the

was guarded, it only tore my shirt.

Hi All,
This makes me wonder how many sculptors use a blade guard on an angle
grinder. Almost everyone I have seen has not had a guard. I too use a 9"
grinder with a 9" blade with no guard and the thing is scary at times. I
guess my excuse is that I want to be able to see what I'm doing, especially
when I'm trying to make a absolutely square cut close to my finish line. I
suppose my question is whether this is foolish behavior and that sooner or
later the thing will bite me.
