Kid in a Candy Store?
Spent the day in a now closed granite quarry. The granite is named
Rideau Red. The quarry was lost to the bank a while back. Guessing
about 9 years ago given the overgrowth (and the newspaper found in one
of the trailers ;) ). New owner hasn't done much with it. I was hoping
some of the cubic pieces were a bit smaller. The smallest was around 37
cu. ft. Most were much much bigger. I'm trying to work out a deal on
some of the waste rock.

Some the neater pictures. A moment in time. Here is the quarry drill
as it was left on the last day of work. A number of holes drilled
getting ready to split the the next large section of stone.
