Vibration syndrome
Hello Ernie,
I use two grades of gloves. One which has anti-vibration built in when
rough out. And then a lighter leather glove for finer work. The Shock Bloc
glove from Black Stallion is light weight, breathable, and has good anti
vibration. The fit is really good making tool handling easy. I can even
adjust my pointing machine with them on. An added plus is it's knuckle
guards. When roughing out I can scrape my knuckles pretty good knocking
off chucks of stone with hammer and point. These gloves are a bit bulky for
finer work - but roughing out is when I am really going at it. I think you
will find buying them direct less expensive that ones offered by the
sculptor supply houses.

Good carving,
