Angle Grinders
Hello Dan, Were it me, I would leave the guard on. This type grinder has a
series winding and turns very high RPM's. I "used" to remove the guard and
now have a deep scar on my left hand because the blade hung, jumped back,
and cut a nice chunk of skin out before I even knew what happened, - so I
would leave it on, - even if the guard is sometimes in the way. - J. Kinder

Quoted text begins.I've just purchased a good angle grinder. This is probably a
stupid question, but since I've never operated one, can someone tell me
what to be careful of? Should I leave the guard on the grinder?
End of quote.
