what is sculpture?
I ran across a letter to the editorial page of the Wall Street Journal's
tuesday edition ( 6-20-06 ) that clearly states the problems with art as
it's perceived by the general public vs the ivory tower curators and
museums. The Royal Academy's handling of the plinth and laughing head
sparked the letter.
Every curator and art critic should read it so they might begin to
understand why the divide between regular people and the arts has become so
wide.
