Strengthening thin stone with epoxy
Dear Bill,
The method you are suggesting is very similar to what the manufacturers of
poor quality marble tiles do, they back the tiles with an open weave
fibreglass matt with epoxy/polyester resin ( I don't know which because I
can't tell the difference once it has cured).
I suggest you use a similar mat.
