Pneumatic Hammer Flow Chart
Quoted text begins. Is anyone interested in verbalizing the inner-workings of
the pnuematic hammer, or know of a good schematic on the
web?
End of quote.
Bill,
Try this link for a sectional view of the Bonaccord pneumatic hammer, now made
by Bill Donald of the Kelso Tool Company

As far as their mechanism is concerned, all I know is that the air flows around
and behind the piston before exiting through a port.
These hammers are currently being improved to reduce vibration output.
