How to pack stone sculture for shipping
Hi Mary, - I used UPS for many years. They now have a one-hundred - fifty
pound weight limit, so if the stones don't weigh anymore, I would use them.
I always used two cardboard boxes, with the sculpture packed tightly inside
the first box using the "blanket-type" foam, -and then that box packed
tightly inside the second box. Most of mine weighed between sixty and
one-hundred pounds (shipped to western art shows) and I never had a piece
break. Good luck, - J. Kinder Hollis
