stone letter cutting tools
Thomas, 5" letter roughly 1/2" wide, hitting a chisel with a
hammer or mallet on a 7/8" slab of marble will crack, I would go for
a least 2"thick. Why not try another material, may be easer to
acquire, Limestone, Slate, are very good for cutting inscriptions
also Sandstone. Plenty of stone around this area, no marble, its
imported from Italy.
