Help with orange alabaster
Hi, folks.
I've been working on a piece of orange alabaster, which is new to me. It
doesn't seem to behave like the other alabaster I've worked (white,
raspberry, green) and I'm a bit concerned.
When I use a hand-chisel on the stone, the discolouration from the
impact is much more severe than with other stone.

Is this normal? I'm worried about the stone becoming too cloudy after I
finish working it.
Thanks.
Julianna
