Warning for Stone Manufactering in China
I am a stone sculpture in Belgium and did an experiment with a stone
factory, Dingly company, in China. They contacted me over the internet to
execute my work. So I did a test. The shape I asked them to make was a very
slight simple form. The procedure was good (guided with photographs and
emails), the contact was nice, and probably they did their best. But the
result was below all standarts. A nice chinese granite full of cracks, a form
that should be round full of facets, the polishing full of stripes. All
things that were not perceivable on the photographs. So I burned my fingers.
The test is finished.
I can only warn you, be carefull.
