Moving 3000lbs?
Hi again
It's fantastic to see the mathematics. No I wouldn't use a Porsche for this
job either, in fact any "normal" vehicle (those without a traditional
chassis) could be challenged.
If you click on my web site at the bottom you can see what I use to attach
the pulley inside the studio, a huge concrete pier, click on artist then
philosophy.
To come clean I'm not pulling my rocks over grass but sandy gravel and I do
a few things if it looks as if the Wrangler is going to be stressed, instead
of a normal sling I use a "snatchem" strap, an elasticised towing strap,
this seems to overcome the inertia. Apart from that the pulley in the studio
is just your standard 4x4 recovery type.
