Hello from a newbie
Hi Jeff,
You've got it one. Its aerated concrete, used as formwork for bathroom
tiles etc and usually available from your local tile shop (oddly enough
;-) ). Its very cheap (@$AU11 for a block 600mm x 200mm x 200mm) and
great stuff to carve although its not particularly fine grain and
fractures more easily than limestone. I found it great to start on but
probably will stick with natural stone from here on in.
