Subject: Where is everyone?

Hello Clive, I was delighted to see you site and your marble heads and
I was pleased with reading your email. For the most part it sounded sooooo
familiar. I do similar things, including the cheap novelty stuff. My last
brain storm had me trying to use scrap stone to make page holders. I'm so
glad I bailed on that one. When the money runs out my brain works over time
thinking up noval cheap things to sell. Seeming to not only be substandard,
but subhuman. Then out of the blue I sell 3 big pieces and the pressure is
off.

I'm happy to announce that my passion has returned in the form a new piece
that's going along really well and is great fun to work on. All the
encouraging words from this stone site have helped me very much. I'll
insert a picture of it when finished. I ended up resting, gardening,
visiting friends, some light shopping and a lot of thinking. Oh yes, I
listened to the Fellowship of the Rings again. I read it the first time
when I was 22. Not exactly a vacation but it was what I needed. Once I
picked out an interesting stone to work on and decided I had enough small
work for the upcoming show, I felt free enough to take on a larger piece.
Falling asleep now, it's time to quit for the night.
