a new beginning
Hi Ray,
I started about 9 months ago, so am a newbie too and am as enthralled as you sound. Best approach I found was going up to a cheap tool shop, buying a wooden mallet and some good but not overly expensive chisels, rasps, sandpaper, a good dust mask and safety glasses and get a piece of hebelstone or limestone and start banging away. Power tools sound good and I am into toys as much as the next guy but maybe get into it a bit before you mortgage the house.
Cheers
