Hi - - - I sympathize - - you've probably created a little bursitis (? sp) in your elbow - swinging a mallet or hammer repeatedly over time could do that- A steroid ( prednisone ?)shot in the elbow ( shoulder , knee , whereever ) can sometimes resolve the problem - - - temporarily. However - - - carving stone is the best excuse in the world for the pain - - as for the 'condition ' ?? - - - if we're gonna sculpt , that may be part of the price some of us may have to pay
