moved now have other questions
Hey everyone sorry I didn't get back to all your responses but well
yes thank you I ended up getting the truck to back up in the space and
with a little TLC we shoved it off onto a few palettes. Since then it's
been pretty smooth. I've been reading all the discussions but haven't had
any great advice for anyone but now with the recent topic of diamond
cutting disks and all I just had to ask questions again. I had just bought
a new blade when the topic was brought up but I was wondering If their is a
particular name for the technique I've been working. I've been cutting
along the surface of the stone in parallel lines it's only 4.5" blade so
the cut is shallow then perpendicular to these cut lines I've been going
against them with a chisel which I think is called a chipper although
maybe not Yeah I've been realizing that I know very little about stone
carving. I've been doing it for several years but never had any formal
training leaving me with these odd techniques that I made up odd names for
chisels made up as well but they seem to work anyways my question is
the cutting and "chipping" a known technique? and if not Is their
something similar for taking off bulk material. thanks everybody - Sky
