End of quote.
I get at least a half dozen spams a week from Chinese stone companies;
sometimes accompanied by between 2 and 10 mg of file attachments showing
off their work. Those attachments have included direct copies of my
original fireplace designs as well as many, many copies of original designs
carved by friends of mine in the U.S. and Italy. They are both spam and
intellectual property violations.
BTW, the lichen idea is a good one. I just visited a client who has had a
2' tall Indiana limestone sculpture of mine in their garden for about 4
years, they placed it under a tree, surrounded by tall plants, and they are
very pleased with the patina it is getting, greens and browns. No lichen
however. I might suggest yogurt or buttermilk to them.
