Outdoor Marble Sculpture in Norway
Is outdoor marble sculpture in Norway a really bad idea? I'm English and now
work in the Mediterranean so I've no experience of Norwegian winters and
whathavoc they can wreak on a lovely piece of marble. I am now working on a
sculpture idea for Oslo which would definitely work best in marble but not
if it's going to turn into a 3D jigsaw after a few years. I know Vigeland
worked a lot in granite but was this for practical reasons to do with the
climate or simply because he preferred the material?
