The website is about the beginning of the symposia's history: the "1. International Sculptor's Symposium in St.Margarethen", founded by Karl Prantl (sculptor, Austria) in 1959. It's about the founder, the members, the sculptures, the symposion's house, the landscape and the result: after this 1st symposium held in St. Margarethen (Austria) the idea/inspiration spread over the world. At the moment the website is in german language, but it will soon also be available in english.
Location: Austria (St. Margarethen, Burgenland).

Compositions for urban and natural environments. The choice of materials stands in dialogue with the environment and the idea. Mostly in stone, steel, combined with light and video. Caroline Ramersdorfer is based in Austria, participated in exhibitions in Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Austria, China, Japan and Taiwan. She has been comissioned to create large pieces for sitespecific urban and park environments and in international sculpture symposia since 1986. Her sculptures are installed in permanent private and public Art collections in Europe, Japan, Taiwan, Canada the U.S.A. and Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Caroline Ramersdorfer opens up the development of an active process in creating a union and finding intersection points between art, culture and the decesive human factor. Connecting the depth of a concentrated interior sensitivity with the unveiling of steps towards a visualization, inviting eye and intellect to perceive on a journey to analyze, reflect and inspire.
