John Fitzgerald is a stone sculptor who resides in Chester County, PA. He apprenticed with J. Dugan for over 20 years working with Onyx and Marbles from around the world. He tries to accentuate his work by incorporating the coloring of the matrix present in the stone that has taken thousands of years to formulate to these beautiful colors and designs. He tries to keep his designs simple but at the same time interesting from whatever angle you look at his work. Each piece has no less than one year from design phase to its completion. I hope that the combination of my designs and the earth's true beauty will bring inspiration to you.

Stone is my first-choice medium for the elements in many of my installations, although I do utilize other materials that are cast, forged, fabricated and, as always, reserve the right to change my mind to suit the direction of my artwork I have been working with stone for about 40 years, producing numerous series utilizing figurative minimal elements; many of these are displayed on the Tom Rudd sculpture pages of this web site.

A resident of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, since 1966, Steven Snyder has been sculpting stone since 1981. Self-taught, he entered stone sculpting through his work as a stone mason which he began in 1976. Fascinated by early Pennsylvania stone architecture, the diversity of indigenous stone in Bucks County, and the tradition of stone carving and shaping in this region, he began exploring form and texture through simple carvings in native stone. His work includes sculpture and fountains made almost exclusively from Bucks County stone and found objects. Snyder opens his studio and sculpture garden every year two weekends in mid May, for an art show which includes other area artists.
