I've been working in stone for the last fourteen years, though not as a carver. I fabricate functional art (mainly vases) from sheet stone such as slate and quartzite. I add gemstones and crystals. My vases are truly unique, not only is each different and impossible to replicate, but I personally developed my methods of working natural stone and minerals into functional art. I've recently completed a detailed description of my innovative methods with step by step instructions. I don't plan to publish this information. I'm offering it as part of a licence to use my methods and designs. I'm interested in hearing from people who are attracted to my work and see the potential for similar items in their own location. I'm offering a low cost hobbyist option that allows limited on my website, Vaseguy.com. People who would like to develop their own locally based business without limits on production numbers can negotiate a regionally protected license with me using Workingswell.com. Hands on training at my studio in western Canada is optional.
Location: Canada (British Columbia).
